I have chosen the category of FICTION-Action/Adventure, as it is about some young singles sailing around t he world on a beautiful yacht, skiing in the Alps, scuba diving in exotic locales, living the LUSH LIFE. It has elements of romance, drug dealing, getting caught, and redemption. All this and a love story, which I am hoping will help it to appeal to women, as well as men.
If you’ve ever dreamed about sailing off into the sunset with someone you love, and seeing the world, you will love this book. I also think it will make a great movie. The protagonist, Ward Sheffield is a 38 year old engineer who is suffering a mid-life crisis. After separating from his wife, he takes up scuba diving, gets interested in sailing. He gets invited on a sailing trip to the Legendary COCOS ISLAND, and has an affair with the Captains wife, Melissa. They discover a chest of old coins, left by pirates, and decide to buy a boat together and go sailing. They enlist friends for crew and take off across the Atlantic to cruise the Med. After many ports of call later, they find out their captain, Ward, has smuggled come drugs in the keel of the boat. Upon returning to the States, they get busted in the Bahamas, and Ward goes to jail and the boat is impounded.
Melissa leaves him, but she gives money to Gunther, an old friend of Ward’s, to bail Ward out. Meanwhile she uses her share of the money to buy a hotel on the island of ROATAN, Honduras (this author’s current home). Gunther rescues Ward and they sail the boat back to ROATAN, where Ward and Melissa are happily reunited.

I'm a 63 year old male and I have traveled to many of the destinations in this book and the author was spot on. The plot kept me guessing and the entire book flowed smoothly. I felt like I was there at every twist and turn. Only down side is the author has no other books available ,,,,,yet.Product details

A nice wintertime read to help you forget the cold and get to thinking about a trip to paradise. Adventure and romance with a touch of danger and intrigue. Enjoyable story.
It held my interest the whole way through it makes me want to travel more and see more places! I would give it a 9+.
Way fun read. Good guys, bad guys, boy gets girl, girl gets boy. Author's descriptive phrasing made it very easy to get transported along with these characters as they went over, under, and thru the waves and enjoyed the 'Lush Life' of sailing around many ports of call, until whoopsie. Great book for those who enjoy thinking about buying a sailboat and seeing what's out there. Would definitely read another by this writer.
If you could reset your compass, where would you go? Vivid descriptions of dramatic coral reef diving and the utter pleasure of life aboard a sailboat mix with a Caribbean / Mediterranean adventure.
Great story filled with lots of sailing & diving. Makes you want to buy a sailboat and head South!! Enjoy .
I'll try any book related to sailing adventures, but this one is the worst! The premise is a silly fantasy of discovering a pirate treasure chest under your illicit partner's bum while having sex beside a tropical waterfall. This 'book' is written without regard to composition, grammar or structure. Any editor would cringe. Give this one a miss.
I found the book to less than captivating. More sex and drugs than substance. This book tended to drag in places.
